The quickest way is in the app: Settings › Send Feedback. It can include your app version, iOS version and iPhone model so we can help faster (never your recordings).

Recording
Will I lose my recording if the app closes or my iPhone turns off?
No. Voxly saves your recording every 2 seconds while you record. If the app is closed or the iPhone shuts down, the recording is recovered the next time you open the app, up to the last 2 seconds.
Can I record with the screen locked or while using other apps?
Yes. Recording continues in the background. You can pause, resume and stop from the Live Activity on the Lock Screen or in the Dynamic Island.
What happens when a call comes in?
Recording pauses during the call. With Settings › Resume after calls turned on, it continues automatically when the call ends.
How do I mark an important moment?
Tap Bookmark while recording, or the flag button while listening. Tap a bookmark's name to rename it.
Your recordings
Where are my recordings stored?
On your iPhone. You can also see them in the Files app under On My iPhone › Voxly. They are uploaded nowhere unless you turn on iCloud Backup.
I deleted a recording by mistake. Can I get it back?
Yes, for 30 days. Go to Settings › Recently Deleted (or Folders › Recently Deleted) and tap Restore.
How do I move recordings to my computer?
Open a recording and tap Share to use AirDrop, Mail or Save to Files. You can also select several recordings at once. With Pro, Wi‑Fi Transfer lets you download recordings in a web browser on any computer on the same Wi‑Fi.
How do I bring in recordings from another app?
Use Settings › Import Old Recordings, the Import from Files button, or tap Share in the other app and choose Voxly. Folders of audio files are supported.
How do I keep my recordings when I change iPhones?
Turn on Settings › iCloud Backup. On the new iPhone, sign in with the same Apple Account, install Voxly and tap Restore from iCloud. An iPhone-to-iPhone transfer or a full device backup also keeps them.
Transcripts and summaries
Why can't I transcribe a recording?
Transcription is part of Pro and runs on your iPhone, so it needs a language your iPhone supports for on-device speech recognition. Choose the language in Settings › Default language or on the Transcript tab. The first time, iOS may need Wi‑Fi to download the language.
Why are summaries not available?
Summaries use Apple Intelligence. They need an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, with it turned on in iPhone Settings, and a supported language.
Is my audio sent to a server for transcription?
No. Transcription and summaries run entirely on your iPhone.
Pro, purchases and subscriptions
How do I restore Pro on a new iPhone?
Sign in with the same Apple Account, open Settings › My Plan and tap Restore Purchases.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings › My Plan › Manage Subscription in the app, or iPhone Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are processed by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
What stays free?
Recording, playback, sharing, trimming and backup are free, with no limits and no ads.
Privacy
Does Voxly upload or listen to my recordings?
No. Your audio, transcripts and summaries stay on your iPhone and in your own iCloud if you turn on iCloud Backup. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
Still need help?
Email rocketeerstudio9@gmail.com and tell us what happened, your iPhone model and iOS version. Please don't send recordings unless we ask, and only if you are comfortable sharing them.
